Andrea Gunraj has written a sparkling first novel – part of Knopf Canada’s New Face of Fiction series – about a Caribbean family riven by economic hardship, fatherlessness, and fierce sibling rivalry.
The titular Seetha is the daughter of Neela, one of two main protagonists in the novel.
